Rebirth of a Lakefront Casual

This East Bay home’s interior was practically unrecognizable after a full remodel of the main living area and office. Rooms with dark, flat wood surfaces, and an uninspired color palette gave way to bright, updated spaces splashed with gleaming white and modern gray paint, custom woodwork and moldings, custom built-in bookcases and shelving, and custom ceiling treatments. Dated carpeting and furnishings gave way to gleaming wood floors and fresh styles and fabrics. The whole personality of the house was transformed into the essence of a lakefront home, reflecting the excitement and beauty of the views outside its windows.
