Not Just Any Cabin

The Cabin is the third addition to Lakemore Retreat on Arbutus Lake, following the Lodge and the Cottage. Unlike the latter two, this 1515-square foot beachfront structure and its adjacent “bunkhouse” were not new builds, but renovations of an existing property. Between them, they have 3 bedrooms and 3 baths. Although the style may be labeled “rustic cabin,” and the exterior cedar siding is original, the landscaping is all new, and the interiors are anything but rustic, featuring a custom stonework fireplace, luxury vinyl plank floors, ceramic tile bathrooms, granite kitchen countertops and stainless steel appliances. Tasteful and comfortable furnishings in quality fabrics and finishes round out this cozy but thoroughly modern “cabin.”
