The Craftsman Cottage
Sunrise views over Crystal Lake are just one of the many amenities of this 3,180 square-foot Craftsman/cottage-style home. It was built to accommodate a large family, with 5 bedrooms and 2.75 baths. While the modern kitchen is predominately white, its natural pine trim and floors – also used throughout the rest of the house – bring nature inside, as do the great room’s stone fireplace and curved log staircase. The composite wood exterior is both environmentally friendly and low maintenance. To accommodate the waterfront site, a retaining wall was built with large boulders – adding yet another element of natural beauty.
